We’re delighted to announce the winners of the Stiles + Drewe Prize 2017, generously supported by MTI.
The winners of both the Best New Song Prize and the MTI Mentorship Award were announced at the Stephen Sondheim Society Student Performer of the Year & Stiles + Drew Prize gala final, held at the Noel Coward Theatre on Sunday 11th June 2017.
MMD board members George Stiles and Anthony Drewe were once again delighted with the number of submissions and the standard of work.
The Best New Song Prize was won by Claire Rivers and Tom Lees for their heartbreaking song ‘Gerry And Me’ beautifully performed in the final by Georgia Frost (Bristol Old Vic Theatre School).
The MTI Stiles + Drewe Mentorship Award was won by Ben Glasstone for his ‘undead’ musical ‘Reanimator’. Oscar Conlon-Morrey (Mountview Academy) performed ‘Work To Do’ from the show in the final.
