Burgess and Wright Win Recognition in Los Angeles

MMD Associates Chris Burgess and Denise Wright's musical Emerald was selected for second place in the ANMT 2009 Search for New Musicals. The show tells the story of an Irish-American woman who returns to the land of her ancestors, only to find herself haunted by the famed Black Pig. Emerald will receive an ANMT staff table reading and feedback session in May of 2009.
