The 'Book Music & Lyrics' ongoing weekly librettists' workshop would like to invite all interested MMD members to a drinks evening, so that we can get to know each other and, perhaps, find potential collaborators to make all of our work stronger and more exciting. There will be 20 librettists there, some of whom are also lyricists, and we've been working hard on the story-telling skills specifically needed for musical theatre.
We hope you will join us on Thursday, 9 September, from 7 until 9:30 p.m., upstairs at the Marquis of Granby, 142 Shaftesbury Avenue, WC2. We will have some drinks and nibbles, and more will always be available from the bar downstairs.
Later, during our autumn term, we will also be hosting a pitching evening during one of our weekly sessions, where you can pitch projects for which you might need a librettist and we can pitch projects to you for which we need collaborators.

Get Involved
Associates need not book a place at the event, it is open to all who wish to attend. Simply turn up on the evening of the 9th September.
