MMD holds writing labs throughout the year in which writers and composers hear and critique each others' work. This enables writers to receive experienced feedback on their work in the safe environment of their peers, who understand the process of writing and the risk involved in presenting raw material.
Giving constructive critique is a skill that writers and composers are encouraged to learn and develop through this process. There is always a facilitator in these sessions to guide the critique and ensure that this remains a positive and nurturing experience. These sessions are open to all current MMD associates.
