MMD are delighted to be hosting an informal panel discussion to answer all your questions and queries about contracts and copyright. Have you ever wondered when and why you might need to have a contract and what it should cover? Have you had ever had trouble getting copyright to adapt source material into a musical? Our esteemed panel will do their best to cover all the basics and then answer any questions you have.
Join MMD Board members lawyer John Cohen and writer and former agent, Teresa Howard, Writers Guild rep Jen Toksvig and agent Kate Weston for Contracts and Copyright 101. The Q&A will be chaired by the newly appointed Executive Director of MMD, Emily Gray.
As we anticipate this will be a highly subscribed event you are welcome to submit a question in advance to the panel. Although we plan to leave an hour for questions, attendees are welcome to submit any queries or particular areas you’d like the panel to cover in advance, to make for the most efficient use of our time.
Please submit any questions to firstname.lastname@example.org by 5pm on Friday 15th November 2019.
The event is free for MMD members to attend but space is limited. To reserve your space as an audience member please click the link here.
