CGO are preparing for the fourth run of “A Month of Sundays” – Musical Theatre writers courses in conjunction with RADA, which will be in November 2009.

Book writers, composers and lyricists are invited to join us for, quite literally, a month of Sundays to work together on collaborative exercises, and explore the building blocks of Musical Theatre writing. Each writer puts aside their own existing work and enters into a bit of blind-dating with another writer to create new ideas and see what happens. New friends are made, and lessons learned in relative safety.

Writers who joined us for the November 08, February and May 09 courses found the detail, the attention, and the privacy of the programme energising and valuable and some have continued their collaboration even after the course has finished. We hope many MMD writers will also take the chance to join us.
