MMD has over 200 members on its books, musical theatre writers from many different backgrounds and traditions.
If you are interested in commissioning a musical, an opera, a piece of music theatre or indvidual songs, either as a patron or as a producer, MMD can help you find the right writer.
Composers and writers need the freedom and space to practise their craft so that they can realise their potential. Talented writers of musicals rely on commissions to help them move forward in their career. The artform also relies on commissions to provide great new British musicals.
Your commisson could make a big difference for a talented writer or composer, and move British musical theatre toward more success and sustainability.
