Do you love musical theatre? Do you lease or own a large-ish room or office in Zones 1 or 2?
If your room is currently unused or has downtime in the evenings or on weekends, you could help out the cause of new musicals by making it available to MMD for meetings, admin, rehearsals or workshops.
After staffing, MMD's biggest overhead is room hire, and we're looking for companies or individuals who can offer us free access to spaces where we can do our core work, ideally over a reasonably sustained period of time.
The kinds of spaces we need are:
Desks and Meeting Spaces for weekday daytimes.
Larger Meeting Rooms for table-readings or Writing Labs. We'd want to play music in these sesssions, so we'd need probably need these rooms to not neighbour residential spaces.
Secure and Accessible Storage for the MMD digital piano
Larger, clear spaces (e.g. small-medium conference type rooms) for movement and rehearsal with actors. Rooms of over x sqft, which are clear of heavy furniture, have flat floors and power points would be ideal for this.
