1943: the curse of rationing has visited the remote Hebridean islands of Little Todday and Great Todday and the thirsty islanders have all but run out of uisge beatha - the water of life. When the S.S. Cabinet Minister runs aground with fifty thousand cases of whisky aboard, the islanders rush to take advantage of the unexpected bounty. But disaster threatens when the Home Guard learns of the illicit salvage operation - and attempts to confiscate the liquor! To celebrate Scotland's Year of Homecoming, we are delighted to announce the world première of this new musical, based on Compton Mackenzie's funny, romantic and hugely entertaining novel. With a score that conjures up both the 1940s and the unmistakable sounds of the Western Isles, performed by a highly talented cast of actor-musicians, Whisky Galore – A Musical! promises to be a season highlight! more info/booking

Supported by the Noel Coward Foundation. A new adaptation of Charles Dickens' A Christmas Carol. Come and join miserly Ebenezer Scrooge on the ‘tight' side of life. Imagine it's a snowy Christmas Eve back in Dickensian London and our unlovable curmudgeon is visited by a motley assortment of ghosts. These unwanted apparitions waft an unwilling Scrooge through his past, present and future. They hope to change his mean old ways before fate sends him to an early grave and fitting comeuppance in an uncomfortable after life – just ask Joseph Marley. Scrooge has spent years profiting from money lending and elevated being tight into an art form, surely his nocturnal encounters will show him the error of his ways?… The show is less a traditional adaptation, and more contemporary in writing style to previous shows on a similar theme. As some might say, ‘What the Dickens!?' more info/booking
