Mercury Musical Developments and Stiles + Drewe are pleased to reveal the finalists for the 2025 Stiles + Drewe Best New Song Prize, to be showcased in a celebratory concert at The Other Palace on Tuesday 25th November 2025.
From 230 submissions, twelve outstanding songs have been selected to be performed by a cast of acclaimed West End performers. The Best New Song Prize is an annual award that honours a standout original song from a new musical, written by a member of Mercury Musical Developments.
Curated and championed by renowned musical theatre writers George Stiles and Anthony Drewe (Identical, Honk!, Mary Poppins), the Song Prize highlights emerging voices in British musical theatre.
An expert panel, including Stiles + Drewe, will judge the finalists. The winner will receive a prize of £1000 to support the further development of their musical.
MMD and MTN members can receive a 20% discount on tickets – find the code in the Discounts section of the Members Hub or future Friday Mail Outs.
