The Mercury Writers Barn
The Mercury Writers Barn has taken place in 2023 and 2024 at The Quadrangle in Shoreham, Kent, held in association with Find Your Light Retreat. The next Writers Barn will be held between 9 – 13 June, 2025. Applications open via MMD website on Monday 10 February and close on Sunday 2 March at 23.55.
MTI Stiles + Drewe Mentorship Award
Generously supported by Musical Theatre International (Europe), the Mentorship Award provides bespoke mentorship support and showcasing opportunities to one writer or writing team over a 12 month period. Applications open via Members Resource Hub will open later this month.
Musical Bites
The Other Palace and Mercury Musical Developments present Musical Bites, a lunchtime series of readings that provide new musical theatre writers an opportunity to share a 45-min except of their work in progress in front of supportive audiences. Applications open via MMD website for Spring ‘25 on Friday 24 February and close Sunday 23 March.
