I’m 56 and have worked all my life in music and theatre, essentially and “professionally” as a performer. I’ve always had an interest in writing, although I have not as yet had a professional breakthrough.
I most recently wrote the music and lyrics to a big family musical, “Santa Santa!”, which has been produced as a full-scale demo. http://www.santasanta.co.uk   This was my fourth musical, following “Piper”, the story of the legend of The Pied Piper of Hamelin; rock musical “Elite”, based on the best-selling 80s computer game of the same name; and “Aesop”, a reworking of the famous fables.
