Biography |
Dominique is a composer and songwriter. A musical time traveller she especially enjoys working with voices, mixing up genres and music from other centuries and cultures. Receiving The PRS John Lennon Song writing Award at 20 she spent several years writing music for TV and Theatre, aswell as touring Europe and playing Festivals including Glastonbury. Theatre productions include Macbeth, at The Man in the Moon Chelsea, The Last Poem at The Tabernacle, Ladbrooke Grove and various London fringe productions. Dominique has released 3 albums on Spotify, The 6 Betweens a Tibetan chill out soundtrack with spoken word, The 9 Orders of Angels a trip hop urban soul journey, and in 2021 Improvisations a collection of contemporary piano chill out tracks with Gregorian chants, and electro soundtracks. In 2020 The Ivors Academy featured Dominique as part of their Mentorship programme, and she was also runner up in Metapop Womex Remix Competition. As well as being a composer Dominique works within music therapy, having trained at Nordoff Robbins, London, and is an active advocate of the power of music within healthcare and mental well being.
