Helen Edmundson’s Plays include Mother Teresa is Dead (Royal Court), The Clearing (Bush//Shared Experience at The Tricycle and on tour).?Adaptations include: Swallows and Amazons (Bristol Old Vic) War and Peace (Shared Experience/NT/Nottingham Playhouse and on tour), Coram Boy (NT/New York), Zorro (Garrick and on tour), Gone to Earth (Shared Experience at The Lyric Hammersmith and on tour) Mill on the Floss (Shared Experience at The Tricycle/Ambassadors/national and international tours) Anna Karenina (Shared Experience at The Tricycle/ BAM/national and international tours). She has created New Versions or Translations of: Life is a Dream (Donmar Warehouse) and Orestes (Shared Experience at The Tricycle and on tour. Her Television work includes: Stella, and One Day? and her Radio work includes: The Mayor of Casterbridge, The Voyage Out, and Anna of the Five Towns. (BBC R4). Current projects include: a new play for the RSC The Heresy of Love, which will open at the The Swan Theatre Stratford in January 2012. She is also currently working on a new play for Shared Experience. Awards b Time Out Awards for Coram Boy, The Clearing, Mill on the Floss and Anna Karenina. John Whiting Award for The Clearing. TMA Award for Anna Karenina. She also received an Olivier Award Nomination (Best Play) for Coram Boy and a Writers Guild Nomination (Best Play) for War and Peace.
