Helen Goldwyn


Helen is a scriptwriter, composer, director and performer.   Her songs (music and lyrics) have been widely performed, both in Helen’s one-woman show ‘A Funny Stage’ and with her comedy trio ‘Ladies GoDiva’ who have headlined at Zedel’s in the West End and toured Nationwide with ‘Beyond Eternity Productions’.

Other writing credits include the one-woman play ‘Pulling Faces’, produced on tour, published by ‘Upstage’ and released as an audio drama on CD and download.  For the National Theatre Studio, she wrote the book for ‘Untitled’ (a one-woman musical for Janie Dee).

Other script-writing credits include the science fiction audio dramas:  ‘Torchwood: The Escape Room’, ‘Doctor Who Chronicles: The Taste of Death’;  ‘The Tomorrow People: Stemming The Tide’ and The ‘Tomorrow People: Tandem’, all with Big Finish Productions, with whom Helen also works regularly as a Director and voice actor.

Helen also co-wrote the book for the musical, ‘Charlie’s Angel’ at The Latchmere Theatre.  Her play ‘Harmony’ was a winner in the Watermill Theatre’s writing competition ‘Raising Voices’ and she devised the cabaret ‘The Storytellers’ for Chichester Festival Theatre’s ‘Chic Cabaret’ season.

She is currently producing, co-devising and writing one of the episodes for a new original audio drama series called ‘Atta Girls’, commissioned by Big Finish.

As a performer, Helen has worked prolifically in theatre, TV and radio as an actor and singer for 25 years.
