Jen is a composer, orchestrator and arranger. As a composer Jen has a particular interest in theatre and musical theatre, and is delighted to be working on a new commission for YMT UK 'The Bachelor Girls'. She also works regularly with Skewbald Theatre. As an orchestrator, Jen has worked with the BBC, the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra, Audio Network, the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, Raymond Gubbay, Senbla Productions, the National Theatre, and Mercury Musical Developments. Musical theatre orchestration work includes Don Black: From Hackney to Hollywood (UK tour), assistant orchestrator on I Can't Sing! The X-Factor Musical (London Palladium) and additional orchestrator on Dance ‘Til Dawn (UK tour). She was orchestrator for Baku 2015 – the inaugural EU Games, and her first radio project, Titanic: Minute by Minute (BBC Radio 2), was awarded both Sony and New York Radio awards. Jen is grateful to be a recipient of an Emerging Excellence Award from Help Musicians UK to support her work on Van Winkle – a folk musical, which was her first collaboration with writing partner Caroline Wigmore.
