I am a composer, from Nottingham, living in London, and I have just graduated from the Royal College of Music with a first class degree in Composition.

My compositional tastes have changed widely from when I began writing, but I have settled into Musical Theater, which I think is natural as my first introduction to Music and Theater was attending the local Panto.  Since then, I have rapidly developed my understanding of the musical form, and I am always exploring deeper into the canon.

My first musical (called No Prior Experience) for which I wrote the Book and Lyrics and of course the music has been in development for two years.  Writing that show gave me a basic understanding of dramaturgy and lyric writing, both of which I found captivating but difficult.  As I have now left education, and I am beginning my professional career, I have decided that I want to write the music, and find collaborators for the duty of Book or Lyric writing.

My ambition is to write four musicals in two years, so that I can gain as much experience as possible and build a portfolio.
