I started writing on the Royal Court Theatre young writers programme and was selected for their Interplay young playwrights festival in Hungary. For the last ten years I have been writing mainly for Film and TV – securing commissions from the BBC, Channel 4, Miramax, Hammer Films and the BFI. I am currently working on a new musical about Marie Curie. I particularly love stories with a genre or fantastical twist that feature complex, fascinating female characters.
