Biography | British composer, arranger and orchestrator Michael Thomas Andrews is a prolific writer able to adapt to an impressive range of musical styles, from 20s jazz to Romantic symphonic scores. He has worked extensively with numerous ensembles including the St Paul’s Cathedral Choir, All Souls Orchestra, Spirituoso and Adoramus Orchestra. As an orchestrator he has worked professionally on TV, film and advertising projects for BBC Songs of Praise, HSBC and Aldi among others. He is also a professional conductor and Artistic Director of a musical charity called Langham Arts Trust, overseeing and conducting annual concerts at the Royal Albert Hall. Michael is keen to collaborate with lyricists and book writers on new musical theatre projects which would best benefit from his love of a wide array of musical styles. |
