Paul James was one of Stephen Sondheim’s original Masterclass students at Oxford. Since then he has written a bunch of well-received and innovative shows including ‘The Demon Headmaster’, ‘New Things to Feel Bad About’, ‘Police Story’ and ‘The Late Sleepers’. ‘The Boy Who Fell Into A Book’, directed by Sir Alan Ayckbourn, ran to great acclaim through Summer 2014 at the Stephen Joseph Theatre, Scarborough.
