Biography | Roxanne Lamendola is a graduate of the American Academy of Dramatic Arts, NYC. Roxanne’s theatre credits include: Ladies at the Alamo, Lunch Girls, Lucky Stiff, Smile, and world premieres of Miami Beach: The Musical! and Unhappy Hour. She has voiced radio spots for Macy’s This Is It Teen campaign and starred in the EMMY-nominated children’s television series, “Up, Down, and Around” (BECON Studios). Roxanne is a singer/songwriter, featured in venues from Miami to New York City to London. Along with her producers from Nashville, Tennessee, Roxanne co-wrote the song “Still (I Will Go On)” recorded by Native Window (made up of the members of the band Kansas). She also penned the theme song for the EMMY Award-winning television show “It’s The Write Time” (BECON Studios), and has been highlighted as the featured songstress in the Sun Sentinel’s Homegrown Music section: “Accompanying herself on guitar and piano, Lamendola’s polished, poetic acoustic pop-rock-folk hybrid is sparked by earthy, soulful vocals that let loose a deeply personal catalog of songs.” Roxanne Lamendola’s most recent project is the new rock musical, “UNRAVELING”. Devised by her and her family, Roxanne uses their triumphant story as inspiration for this new original musical. Her portfolio continues to grow. Roxanne directs and writes for theatre projects in New York and Florida. |
