Biography

Robert most recently played Omar in the first Australian production of Disney’s Aladdin, which opened to critical acclaim at Sydney’s Capitol Theatre in 2016.

He graduated from the Victorian College of Arts in 2011 with a Bachelor of Musical Theatre (2011) after training at the Sandra Clack Ballet Centre, Geelong.

Credits include: West Side Story (The Production Company), La Cage Aux Folles (The Production Company) Pirates of Penzance (The Production Company), The Addams Family (New Theatricals), A Funny Thing Happened On The Way To The Forum (GFO), lead vocalist with the John Farnham Band under the direction of Chong Lim, Candice McQueen: Nasty! (Greenroom award for Cabaret Production, Greenroom nomination for Cabaret Musical Director).

Television credits include Channel Ten’s drama series Mr & Mrs Murder and ABC’s Upper Middle Bogan.

In 2014, Robert composed the score to Guilty Pleasures which played Melbourne (Chapel Off Chapel) and Sydney (The Hayes Theatre) and will now play Brisbane’s Powerhouse Theatre in October. He also composed and produced DreamSong which played at Theatreworks as part of the 2014 Melbourne International Comedy Festival. Robert recently starred in Ned – An Ordinary Man. An Extraordinary Legend (City of Greater Bendigo) and appears in the feature film Holding The Man.
