Tom Harris is a Mancunian composer, improviser, and pianist, most heavily influenced by Black American Music, and with a focus on writing for theatre/film.
Since graduating from the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire’s BMus Jazz course in 2018, Harris has worked extensively with artists from across the UK (including Rosie Tee, Marco Woolf, Andy Scott), and developed three longer-term projects – textural voice/piano duo wilkins/harris, groove-based Trampette, and Ulita, a multi-disciplinary theatre collaboration with vocalist/composer Nishla Smith and visual artist Luca Shaw.
He is currently working on a new show – ‘Sister’ – with Ulita.
