Tori Allen-Martin is a singer, songwriter, producer, actor and writer. She founded Interval Productions in 2009 and has produced five musicals under that banner. Four of them being entirely original pieces. Interval Productions are now a multi-award nominated company and their production of ‘Streets’, (co-written by Tori) has played sold out shows at The Cockpit, Hackney Empire and The Vaults. Tori was longlisted for the Old Vic 12 and recently participated in the Criterion New Writers programme led by Greg Mosse, and will have some of her work performed on stage at The Criterion in the summer as a result of this. As a performer, Tori’s self-penned and self funded, debut EP, ‘Wasted’ debuted top 20 in the iTunes singer/songwriter chart. She also appears on three tracks on Idris Elba’s mi Mandela album, including the single ‘You Give Me Love’, where she performs vocals alongside Maverick Sabre. Tori worked with Elba, living in South Africa and Mali for a month for the duration of recording. Tori’s career in the arts has spanned over ten years and she has performed at venues such as The Ahoy Arena in Rotterdam, the Lincoln Centre, New York, and The Palace, The Lyric and The Garrick Theatres (West End), as well as The Pheasantry, The Tabernacle and The Hippodrome Casino. Tori is currently back in the studio working on new material for her second EP (scheduled for September 2016) and has also been working as a session artist for various artists including, aforementioned Elba, Fatboy Slim, Jeymes Samuel of The Bullitts and Bless Beats. Most recently she appeared with Eliza and the Bear on their BBC Radio One Live Lounge for Clara Amfo and on the Grand National Sunday Brunch special.
