Stiles + Drewe Best New Song Prize 2024: Applications Open
We are delighted to announce submissions for the 2024 Stiles + Drewe Best New Song Prize are now open!
The Best New Song is awarded on an annual basis, recognising an outstanding song from a new musical written by a member of MMD. A panel of judges, including George Stiles and Anthony Drewe, award the Best New Song and the winner receives a prize of £1,000 to put towards developing their work. All finalists have access to feedback from Stiles and Drewe, and will have their song performed by West End actors at the gala final in London in November.
All genres of musical theatre music are welcome and variety is encouraged.
MMD members can submit up to two songs each and the deadline is 10am, Monday 17th June. Good luck everyone!
How To Apply
The application form is in the Musicals Resource Hub under ‘Applications’. The Resource Hub is accessed using the same username and password as your MMD login on this website. If you reset a password for one log in area, it will update on the other.
