Stiles + Drewe Best New Song Prize 2026: Applications Open
The Best New Song Prize is awarded on an annual basis, and recognizes an outstanding song from a new musical written by a member of MMD. A panel of industry judges, including George Stiles and Anthony Drewe, award the Best New Song and the winner receives a prize of £1,000 to put towards developing their work.
Twelve finalists will have their song performed by a cast of West End performers at the gala final in London in October 2026.
All genres of musical theatre music are welcome and variety is encouraged.
The deadline for submissions is midnight on Monday 20th April 2026. Good luck everyone!
How To Apply
The application form is in the Musicals Resource Hub under ‘Applications’. The Resource Hub is accessed using the same username and password as your MMD login on this website. If you reset a password for one log in area, it will update on the other.
