What will happen at the BEAM showcase?
BEAM 2020 will be taking place at Royal & Derngate, Northampton, in late March/early April.
The full programme will be confirmed once all the work being shown has been selected. It will be a packed two days, with a real range of work to see and conversations to have – scratch performances, keynote speeches, pitch sessions, book in hand readings and lots of chances to network.
HOW MANY TICKETS WILL BE AVAILABLE?
We will be taking over the whole building for two days and packing in as much work as we can – into the performance spaces, bar areas, rehearsal room and anywhere we can find in between! However, the performance spaces themselves have specific capacities and we will therefore be operating an application process for those tickets. Our priority is for the work and artists being showcased to be given as many opportunities to be taken forwards as possible. Therefore tickets will first be issued to producers, venues and directors; any spare seats will then be issued to those with a more general interest in the event.
Artists whose work is included in the showcase will be guaranteed a ticket for their own session together with a general access ticket across the two days.
