MMD are thrilled to launch applications for the new Skills Fund, generously supported by Jane Goodman Charitable Trust.
This Skills Fund offers small grants to members of MMD for the purposes of developing new skills, increasing employability and improving their writing craft.
The Fund is open to all current members of MMD, and members may apply for a grant of any amount up to £1000.
Eligible grants could include:
- Private tuition, e.g. piano lessons
- A place on a course
- Paid mentoring
- Equipment to enable skill-building
You must be able to demonstrate how the grant will assist you in one or more of the following ways:
- Improving your writing craft
- Employability
- Developing new and beneficial skills for a career as a writer/composer
